It was a great trip. Aside from catching our limit which makes any day a good one, we all agreed that fishing with you was a real pleasure. I had never fished for reds exclusively, just whatever came along while going after specs. But I have fished with a lot of different guides both fresh and saltwater and all the way to Alaska. I'd put you at the top of the list. Your boat and equipment were in fine shape. We all appreciated the way you managed when things got hectic. We could see that everything was under control and that you were set to get us the most fish possible. What was especially appreciated was the way you handled us----no criticism, just calm, helpful advice, a few nudges here and there to get us in the right place to get the fish in the boat.

All in all, a great outing. I've already passed your name along to a couple of other fishermen. And I'm sure you'll be seeing some of us again.

This is a quick email to say thank you so much for arranging a multi-boat trip and a "GREAT DAY" of fishing with you and George this past Saturday! Although my friends and I are novice anglers, the amount of fish we were able to catch with your assistance made us look and feel like real anglers for a day. The memories you and George provided us with will give us plenty to argue about over the next few months of whose better. My wife and I have been out with Kevin before and once again we caught our limit on redfish. Kevin does it all. Finds the fish, (when others can't), baits the hooks, casts an unbelievable distance, (right where the fish are), instructs when necessary, and nets the fish. WHAT A GREAT GUIDE! We'll be back again and recommend him to everyone. The only bad thing about that would be overworking Kevin. Thank you for another great time.

Here are a few pictures from our fishing trip on Sunday the 22^nd of June. I cannot tell you how much fun we had. Given the early morning conditions and our battling with stubborn fish the outcome was terrific. Once again you outdid yourself. Your patience and hard work ethic made all the difference for us. My son and my brother in law are still talking about it. I have already heard my son telling his buddies how he out fished his dad……..AGAIN!!!! We look forward to our next trip with you. Kevin thank you for the best day of fishing I've ever had. Conditions were tough but you stayed with it until we limited. Besides fishing, we learned a lot of tips from you. Can't wait to do it again!!!!

I wanted to thank you again for the fantastic fishing trip. Your determination to find those elusive last two trout was so much appreciated. I wanted to tell you that the experience you provided to the both of us exceeded my expectations in hiring a professional guide. It is obvious that you take great pride in the services that you provide and are passionate about fishing. The attention to detail that you provided did not go unnoticed such as the quality of gear you provided to the manner in which you did everything possible to put fish in the boat. When reports were coming in all day of others fishers not catching anything, we had fish in the boat. As well, the impressive manner in which you went out of your way to control that crazy frenzy of red fish action seemed like a choreographed and rehearsed event. That memory will forever stay etched in my mind. I want to thank you sincerely for the attention you gave to Lisa and me. It can be hard to fork over hard-earned money to a stranger that you are not even sure you will enjoy spending the day with, but from the moment I met you, it seemed like we had known each other all our lives and I truly appreciate you taking the time to make Lisa feel at home. It made the experience that much more pleasurable knowing that she was having a good time. If you ever need any help with referrals or anything, don’t be afraid to ask. We thought it would be possibly boring and really hot, but instead we were catching fish right and left. First let me thank you again for an unforgettable trip. You should have heard those two boys bragging to their Mamma's not to mention anybody else that would listen. We took everybody out for a big fish dinner that night.

As a 4th year medical student, my daughter Jody, finally had some well deserved time off in mid May and wanted to go fishing. We didn’t really have much first hand knowledge of guides in the Aransas Pass area so I called a friend and he recommended Kevin. Myself, my friend and my soon to be OB/GYN doctor signed up for two days with Kevin. We met at the boat at 6 am and, after introductions and helping load our “stuff” off we went. From the first cast to the last, Kevin worked very hard, but maintained that ever important balance between work, teaching, and making sure we all had a good time. As hard as I tried to help, I don’t think I ever did…even when we came up on some birds working a school of fish, he positioned the boat, baited the hooks and did all of the casting for the “doc”….never missed a beat!

Both trips were not only fun, but we caught our limit both days. If you want to fish with a guide who works hard to find the fish, helps all he can to make sure you catch them (including a few free lessons), and makes sure each fisher person is properly attended to, call Kevin “Reel” McCoy.
